Easton ROCKS After School, Inc., a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization on Maryland’s Eastern Shore that provides before- and after-school programs to Easton Elementary and Easton Middle Schools. Unlike typical after-school programs, the target population of Easton ROCKS is the entire K–8 student body of Easton’s Title I schools, regardless of academic or socioeconomic standing. ROCKS programs enrich academics, improve physical fitness, increase access to the arts, and open opportunities to try new hobbies or indulge existing loves:

Our programs foster friendships and a sense of community and inclusiveness that may not otherwise exist. As well, they keep kids safe and productive after school, giving our local families peace of mind and helping to reduce juvenile crime statistics; gang activity; and pre-adolescent alcohol, drug, and sexual experimentation in our community.
